Chris Montes is a senior director for Walker & Dunlop’s Multifamily Finance team, based in Los Angeles, California. In his role, he oversees the structuring, origination, and deal management of Agency financing. Mr. Montes has over a dozen years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry and has an extensive understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s programs. Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Montes worked for Arbor Realty Trust as an Associate Vice President and Deputy Chief UW working on agency lending. Before that, he worked in Underwriting at Berkeley Point Capital LLC. Mr. Montes holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California (USC) and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Mr. Montes also serves as Vice Chairman of the board for AdelFi Bank and serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Board Committee for USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy.
