Venice AI Secures $65 Million Series A Investment At $1 Billion Valuation
Venice AI, a privacy-focused AI platform offering access to more than 200 AI models, raised a $65 million Series A round at a $1 billion valuation, making it a unicorn in its first external funding round. The financing was led by Dragonfly, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, North Island Ventures, and others, and will be used to purchase GPUs and build the company's own data centers. CEO Erik Voorhees said Venice AI is already profitable, with annualized run-rate revenue exceeding $70 million, as the company continues to grow its privacy-first alternative to mainstream AI platforms.
