Traversal, a New York-based AI site reliability engineering startup, raised $120 million in a Series B round at a $1 billion valuation, announced November 3, 2026. The company develops an AI-powered platform that identifies, diagnoses, and prevents production outages in enterprise software, using agentic systems and causal machine learning to automate incident investigations and resolutions. The round was co-led by Kleiner Perkins, Redpoint, and Khosla Ventures, with Sequoia and Battery Ventures participating, bringing its total funding to more than $168 million. Traversal reports ninefold revenue growth year-to-date, nearly 100-fold usage growth, and more than 90% root-cause accuracy.
