Thunes Raises $150 Million In Series D Funding From Apis Partners And Vitruvian Partners
Thunes, a Singapore-based global payment platform, raised $150 million in Series D funding, backed by Apis Partners and Vitruvian Partners. The company plans to use the funds to expand its presence in the U.S., supported by newly acquired licenses in 50 states, pending regulatory approval. Thunes will strengthen its Direct Global Network, which spans over 130 countries and 550+ direct integrations, enabling real-time payments across diverse markets. With a focus on interoperability, Thunes integrates traditional, digital, and emerging currencies through technology and compliance standards. The company is led by CEO Floris de Kort.

Palo Alto Networks Acquires AI Startup Console For $500 MillionConsole, a San Francisco-based AI startup, has been acquired by Palo Alto Networks for a reported $500 million, just two years after its founding. The company had raised $29 million across two funding rounds and was valued at $157 million in its latest round. Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora was among Console’s early investors, while Thrive Capital, led by Joshua Kushner, led both of the startup’s funding rounds. Palo Alto plans to integrate Console’s AI agent technology into its Cortex security platform.
