Sunday, the Mountain View-based robotics startup building autonomous home robots, raised $165 million in an oversubscribed Series B at a $1.15 billion valuation, with Coatue Management leading the round and co-founder Thomas Laffont joining the board. Founded by Stanford PhD roboticists Tony Zhao (CEO) and Cheng Chi (CTO), Sunday plans to deploy its household robot Memo this fall through a beta program, leveraging its patented Skill Capture Glove and a “data flywheel” approach to scale autonomous home intelligence.
