Nex, the company behind controller-free family gaming console Nex Playground, raised more than $150 million in Series E equity and debt financing led by Baillie Gifford and BAI Capital, with participation from NBA Investments, Logitech, Medici Capital Partners and Raine Group, plus a JPMorgan credit facility. The funding, announced by co-founder and CEO David Lee, will support global expansion as Nex Playground surpasses 1 million units sold and approaches 1 million Play Pass subscribers.
