Monark Markets Acquires LEX Markets' Software And Legal IP For $1 Million

Monark intends to build the foundation for the future of alternative assets trading. Monark co-founder Ben Haber had the following to say on the transaction: “Just like how NASDAQ opened up liquid capital markets for smaller cap and growth stocks in the 1970s, Monark is going to open up those capital markets for alternative assets. We’ve just acquired what may be the most advanced technological IP on the market for this mission – that ironically had previously been built in partnership with NASDAQ – to facilitate secondary trading for private market securities”.
