Mark Cuban has backed Skylight, a TikTok alternative built on Bluesky’s AT Protocol, co-founded by CEO Tori White and CTO Reed Hermeyer. Skylight offers short-form video features with decentralized networking, allowing content to be seen across ATProto-based apps like Bluesky. Inspired by potential TikTok bans, White leveraged her influencer background to build early traction. The app, now live on iOS and in beta on Android, has raised a pre-seed round from Cuban and Graham & Walker Venture Fund.
