Lux Aeterna, a Denver-based space infrastructure startup founded by ex-SpaceX engineer Brian Taylor, has raised $10 million in an oversubscribed seed round to develop the first fully reusable satellite platform, Delphi. The round was led by Konvoy, with participation from Decisive Point, Cubit Capital, Wave Function, and follow-on investment from Space Capital, Dynamo Ventures, and Channel 39, bringing the company's total funding to $14 million. Lux Aeterna’s Delphi satellites are designed with integrated conical heat shields that enable atmospheric reentry and refurbishment, aiming to transform space operations from a “launch-and-burn” model to a cost-effective, reusable fleet capable of supporting commercial, defense, and in-space manufacturing applications.
