Kim Kardashian Reacquires Coty's 20% Stake In SKKN By Kim For $200 Million
Kim Kardashian has repurchased Coty's 20% stake in her beauty brand, SKKN by Kim, which she sold in 2020 for $200 million. The acquisition allows her to fold the brand under her successful SKIMS empire, expanding its portfolio into beauty, skincare, and fragrance. Kim, who founded SKKN by Kim (formerly KKW Beauty) in 2017, said the move aligns with her mission to create transformative products. SKIMS CEO Jens Grede emphasized that the acquisition reflects the brand’s strength and readiness to enter new categories. Coty retains its 51% stake in Kylie Cosmetics, founded by Kim’s sister Kylie Jenner.
