Hyphenate, a New York-based autonomous finance platform founded in 2024 by Ramnandan Krishnamurthy and Ajay Krishna Amudan, raised $45 million in a Series A round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from B Capital, Foundation Capital, BoldCap and Gaia Ventures. The funding brings its total capital raised to $54 million following 86x revenue growth, an 11x increase in its customer base over 12 months and expansion to six public-company customers. Led by co-founder and CEO Ramnandan Krishnamurthy, Hyphenate uses self-learning AI agents to automate accounting and finance operations, with its agents now handling 90% of routine finance work.
