Tom Melody, Managing Director, is based in Houston, Texas and is responsible for securing financing and structuring equity for owners and developers of all commercial real estate asset classes. Mr. Melody has been involved in the commercial real estate finance industry for over 35 years and has extensive experience securing debt and structuring equity joint ventures and other structured debt transactions with all asset classes. Mr. Melody specializes in institutional properties and has been involved with numerous developments as well as dispositions throughout the United States. Over the past ten years, he has advised clients on more than $9 billion of commercial real estate transactions.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Melody served as Executive Managing Director and co-head of the Capital Market’s-Finance platform at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) from 2010-2019.
