Reid was born and raised in the upstate of South Carolina and has lived in Charleston for almost twenty years. He currently lives on James Island with his wife and daughter where they all enjoy spending time outdoors exploring the natural beauty that draws so many people to the lowcountry. In his spare time, you can catch him fishing or surfing at Folly Beach, going to see live music with friends, or riding bikes with his daughter and Labrador Retriever, Maizy.
Reid received his undergraduate and master’s degree from College of Charleston, and later went on to earn a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During this time, he worked as a public-school educator and most recently as a college professor. As a former educator and researcher in higher education, Reid offers his real estate clients a unique skill set.
