In 2010, I enlisted as a Machine Gunner in the Marine Corps with 1st Battalion 9th Marines. With 1/9, I was deployed twice to The Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 2011 and 2013-14. After being honorably discharged in 2014, I worked as a Private Security Specialist, escorting American Ambassadors throughout Baghdad, Iraq. While working in Iraq, I began earning a BA in Criminal Justice and Undergraduate Certificate in Real Estate Management. Shortly after returning home, I started with Franklin Street on the Capital Markets team. As a Financial Analyst at Franklin Street, my primary responsibilities include sourcing client and lender relationships, underwriting all commercial assets, develop marketing material, structuring debt and equity products, and advising commercial real estate investors nationwide with a focus in the Southeast.
