About
Michael Kaufman, Partner at the Kaufman Organization, joined the firm in 1997 and has since grown to co-lead its energetic leasing division with Grant Greenspan and Michael Heaner. Mr. Kaufman has completed more than $400 million worth of transactions, making him one of Kaufman’s most active brokers. His versatility and experience in identifying emerging markets has made him the go-to broker for clients, big or small, in a wide-variety of industries including software, biotechnology, fashion, dotcom, private equity companies and numerous professional service firms. From Nobu to Quinn, Mr. Kaufman has developed strategies to understand the complex needs of his clients, often maintaining strong, long-term relationships with them. He has been instrumental in securing office space for tech giants, and has played a significant role in assisting growing companies relocate to larger spaces. Kaufman is a graduate from Penn State with a Bachelors of Science degree in real estate and finance. In his spare of time, Kaufman races his 1967 Corvette professionally at over 200 mph for Top Sportsman. “These hands know how to get dirty,” says Kaufman.
