Prior to joining Starwood Property Trust in 2016, Mr. Dybas was a Senior Vice President in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Commercial Real Estate Group, where he spent six years and originated over $4 billion of bridge, construction, and land loans. Before that, Jeff was a Senior Vice President with Anglo Irish Bank where he spent five years originating and syndicating commercial real estate loans. Previously, Mr. Dybas pursued real estate equity investments, financing, syndication, and portfolio management opportunities with Marathon Asset Management and Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank). Before joining Bankers Trust in 1997, Jeff provided real estate restructuring, valuation, and work-out services with Arthur Andersen. Mr. Dybas began his career in 1991, providing real estate valuation and consulting services with Delta Associates. Mr. Dybas received a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia, an MBA from The Wharton School, and maintains series 7, 79, and 63 securities licenses.
