About
James M. Richards, Jr., is an Executive Vice President with CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance Group. Mr. Richards previously served as a senior vice president with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital LLC. Grandbridge acquired Live Oak Capital, Ltd., in December of 2008, where Mr. Richards served as a principal.
Prior to joining the Live Oak Capital, Mr. Richards served 15 years as managing director of the Houston office of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, LP. As one of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler’s top loan originators his responsibilities included debt originations, joint ventures and equity placement, and investor relations. In 1997 he helped establish the Upstate New York office for Holliday Fenoglio where he was a licensed real estate broker in the state of New York.
From 1981 to 1984 Mr. Richards was a vice president and manager of a Houston-based mortgage company where he was in charge of commercial real estate activities and the direct supervision of staff. He has been an active originator of commercial real estate transactions in the mortgage banking industry for more than 28 years.
