Irene Uy joined ERG Commercial Real Estate team after receiving her Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University. While completing her graduate studies in New York, she worked with government agencies where she gained experience in processing waterfront development permits and conducting financial feasibility analyses for valuating properties.Prior to moving to New York, she completed her undergraduate degree in Management Engineering and worked for a developer in the Philippines soon after. She worked on hotel projects in central and developing cities in the Philippines, as well as assisting in the acquisition of a luxury hotel in Manila. Irene has a strong background in real estate and urban planning. She is interested in urban development with particular focus on economic development. She is an avid traveler and likes to learn about a city’s history and its development trajectory.
