About
David Mahoney is a Senior Vice President in CBRE Chicago’s Tenant Representation group, joining the firm through the 2014 acquisition of U.S. Equities Realty. In his current role, David provides market knowledge and intelligence, analysis of landlord structure and motivations, strategic planning, financial analysis and lease negotiation advice to corporate, nonprofit and educational users of office space, in Chicago and nationally. David has worked with the top tenant representation advisors in the firm on some of the most complex projects in Chicago. Prior to joining U.S. Equities Realty, David worked in the Tenant Representation division at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. Before entering commercial real estate he played professional soccer for the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer, where he was a member of the Fire’s 2006 U.S. Open Cup championship team. David and team member Meredith Soren Freese were nominated by their industry peers as a finalist for the 2012 Crain’s Chicago Business “Innovative Deal of the Year” award.
