Founded by Emi Andere and Steven Arellano, Wafer sells fast inference for open-source LLMs, using AI agents to continuously optimize GPU kernels based on workload traffic and performance constraints. The round included Marathon, Chemistry, Wing, Fifty Years, Outset Capital, Y Combinator and AMD Ventures.
