Uber is investing $300 million in Lucid and a larger, undisclosed amount in Nuro to co-develop a premium robotaxi service. The deal includes Uber purchasing at least 20,000 Lucid Gravity SUVs over six years, which will be equipped with Nuro’s autonomous vehicle system and operated by Uber or its fleet partners, with production expected to begin in late 2026.
