Throne Secures $4M Seed Funding Led By Moxxie Ventures For AI Gut Health Device
Throne, an Austin-based startup developing an AI-powered toilet-mounted device to monitor gut health, has raised $4M in seed funding led by Moxxie Ventures’ Katie Jacobs Stanton. Co-founded by CEO Scott Hickle and CTO Tim Blumberg, Throne uses computer vision and AI to analyze waste for early signs of chronic conditions like IBS, colitis, and kidney disease. The round also included participation from high-profile angels like Lance Armstrong and Rupa Health co-founder Tara Viswanathan. The device, currently in prototype form, is slated for a January 2026 launch. WHOOP co-founder John Capodilupo has joined as chief product officer.
