Sent Secures $3.55M Seed Funding At $18.5M Valuation Led By Companyon Ventures
Sent, a New York-based startup founded by Daniel Vataj, has raised $3.55M in seed funding at an $18.5M valuation to modernize A2P messaging infrastructure. The company offers a universal messaging API for SMS, WhatsApp, and iMessage—equipped with intelligent routing, rich media, and real-time delivery tracking. The round was led by Companyon Ventures with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Urban Innovation Fund, CP Overture, and Bulletpitch+. Bessemer’s investment is especially notable, coming full circle after leading Twilio’s seed round in 2009.
