SambaNova Systems Secures $1 Billion In Series F Funding At $11 Billion Valuation

SambaNova Systems, a Palo Alto, California–based AI infrastructure company, has raised $1 billion in Series F funding at an $11 billion valuation. The round was led by General Atlantic and included participation from BlackRock, T. Rowe Price, Capital Group, Vista Equity Partners, Qatar Investment Authority, Intel Capital, Battery Ventures, Seligman, Cambium Capital, and Volantis. Founded by Rodrigo Liang, Kunle Olukotun, and Christopher Ré, SambaNova develops purpose-built AI inference infrastructure, with its RDU chips designed to improve inference throughput by working alongside GPUs. The company also announced that JPMorganChase will deploy its inference infrastructure for secure on-premises AI workloads, while Vista and Cambium committed $3.5 billion in compute through the VC2 data center. SambaNova’s fifth-generation SN50 platform is expected to ship in the second half of 2026.
FUN FACT: Vista Equity Partners and Cambium Capital have committed $3.5B in compute purchases to SambaNova through the VC2 data center — the first live deployment of the disaggregated architecture. Fifth-gen SN50 ships H2 2026; independent benchmarks verified ~2x throughput over GPU-only setups. JPMorganChase is deploying on-prem.

The deal would give Nvidia deeper access to Hugging Face’s developer ecosystem, which hosts millions of models and datasets, but could also raise concerns about the platform’s neutrality as it supports rival hardware from AMD and Intel.
