Replicas, a cloud infrastructure startup that enables developers to run and manage multiple AI coding agents in dedicated computing environments, has raised a $4 million seed round from Y Combinator, Flex Capital, Founders’ Co-op, Pioneer Fund, Robinhood Ventures, Twenty Two Ventures, Metsu Capital, and Blast, alongside angel investors including Paul Graham, Zeno Rocha, and Merrill Lutsky. The company aims to help engineering teams scale AI agent usage by providing each agent with its own machine, complete with the necessary dependencies, browser, and testing environment. Replicas reported that customers surpassed 5 million minutes of agent usage in September 2026, with nearly 7 million minutes recorded just three weeks later, while agents have operated across more than 1 million workspaces.
