Outer Spaces Raises $8 Million In Pre-Seed Funding Led By Upfront Ventures

Outer Spaces, an El Segundo, California-based startup developing solar-powered outdoor structures, has raised $8 million in pre-seed funding led by Upfront Ventures, with participation from Unlock Venture Partners, Mucker Capital and Genius Ventures. CEO Jiake Liu co-founded the company, which is developing OS1, a solar pavilion and “power deck” with integrated battery storage, with systems expected to go on sale in 2027.
