Origin Secures $20 Million In Funding Led By Accel And Zacua Ventures

Origin, a construction robotics startup founded in 2025 by CEO Yogesh Ghaturle, Tushar Makkar and Ashish Daga, raised $20 million in total funding in a round co-led by Accel and Zacua Ventures. The company develops OG-1, a general-purpose robot that finishes drywall up to three times faster than human crews, and will use the funding to expand its robot fleet, support U.S. and European pilots, and develop capabilities across additional interior construction trades.
