NewLimit Raises $130 Million In Series B Funding Led By Kleiner Perkins
NewLimit, a biotech startup co-founded by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, Blake Byers, and stem cell expert Jacob Kimmel, has raised $130 million in a Series B round led by Kleiner Perkins to advance its mission of developing age-reversing treatments through epigenetic reprogramming. The round included new investors Nat Friedman, Daniel Gross, and Khosla Ventures, alongside returning backers like Founders Fund and Patrick Collison. The company, now over four years old, has identified three prototype drugs that rejuvenate liver cells and is leveraging AI to accelerate discovery in a “lab-in-a-loop” model, though human trials remain a few years away.
