Nas.com Secures $27 Million In Series A Funding Led By Khosla Ventures

Nas.com, the AI platform for solo entrepreneurs founded by content creator Nuseir Yassin (Nas Daily), has raised $27 million in a Series A round led by Khosla Ventures. The startup helps users build and run online stores using AI tools for storefront creation, branding, ads, and marketing automation, targeting non-technical “solopreneurs” who want to launch businesses quickly. Investors in the round also include 500 Global, along with angel backers such as Shuo Wang (Deel cofounder), Stanley Tang (DoorDash cofounder), Scott Adelson (Houlihan Lokey CEO), and Tim Ferriss. The company plans to use the funding to expand its 30-person team and invest further in product development and growth. Bending Spoons Acquires Airtable For $1.28 Billion In Cash TransactionBending Spoons has agreed to acquire spreadsheet and database startup Airtable for $1.28 billion in cash, marking its first acquisition since going public last month. Founded in 2013, Airtable has raised more than $1.4 billion and, while it was valued at over $11 billion during the 2021 market peak, its valuation has since fallen significantly. Bending Spoons said Airtable’s current enterprise value is about $2.25 billion after accounting for its net cash position. Highlighting the company’s growth, Bending Spoons founder Luca Ferrrai noted that Airtable’s annual recurring revenue increased more than 20% year over year to approximately $480 million as of June 2026. Earlier this year, Airtable also expanded its AI offerings with the launch of its Superagent platform, and CEO Howie Liu said the company serves more than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100. Visa Acquires AI Fraud Prevention Company BioCatch For $2.4 BillionVisa announced it will acquire Israeli AI-powered fraud prevention company BioCatch for $2.4 billion in cash, a move aimed at strengthening its defenses against increasingly sophisticated digital fraud. BioCatch, which serves more than 350 banking clients across 21 countries and protects 1.8 billion devices and 760 million users worldwide, uses behavioral and device intelligence to detect fraud in real time by analyzing billions of user interactions each month. Visa said the acquisition will help clients combat account takeovers and scams, which it estimates cost the global economy more than $1 trillion annually.
