Multiverse Computing Raises $570 Million In Series C Round At $1.7 Billion Valuation
Multiverse Computing, a Spanish AI startup focused on compressing AI models using quantum-inspired techniques, raised $570 million in a Series C round at a $1.7 billion pre-money valuation, making it a unicorn and bringing total funding to about $800 million. Founded by CEO Enrique Lizaso Olmos, the San Sebastian-based company has seen rapid growth driven by its CompactifAI engine, which uses tensor networks to shrink large AI models by up to 93% while maintaining accuracy. The round was co-led by Forgepoint Capital International, BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund, and Bullhound Capital, with participation from Qatar Development Bank, HP Inc., and other strategic investors.
