Marriott International (Nasdaq: MAR) announced it will acquire lifestyle hotel brand citizenM, founded by Rattan Chadha and led by CEO Lennert de Jong, for $355 million to bolster its growth in the select-service and lifestyle segments. CitizenM, known for its tech-savvy, art-driven hotel experience, currently operates 36 hotels across major global cities and has a strong development pipeline.
