Manus, the AI agent startup under parent company Butterfly Effect, has raised more than $500 million in its first funding round since separating from Meta after Beijing blocked the tech giant’s acquisition of the company. The round was co-led by Boyu Capital and IDG Capital, with existing investors Tencent, ZhenFund and HSG also participating, as Manus continues operating independently and expanding its agent products, including Manus 2.0 and Cue.
