Arena, an AI safety and evaluation company, raised $200 million in Series B funding at a $3.1 billion valuation, bringing its focus to measuring how safely and effectively AI systems perform in real-world use. Led by CEO Anastasios Angelopoulos, Arena also launched its Alignment Index, which evaluates frontier models using real-world agent traces across signals including unauthorized action, false attribution and deceptive completion.
