Lobster Capital, founded by French engineer-turned-YouTuber-turned-investor Gabriel Jarrosson, has closed its debut $12 million fund dedicated exclusively to backing Y Combinator startups. Jarrosson, who built one of Europe’s largest angel syndicates after launching a YouTube channel in 2017, has since deployed $36 million into YC alumni and now manages Lobster Capital’s portfolio of nearly 30 startups across B2B SaaS, fintech infrastructure, and AI, with a second, larger fund already in the works. Ode AI Secures $1.5 Billion Investment From Anthropic Blackstone And Other Major InvestorsOde AI, the enterprise AI services venture backed by Anthropic, Blackstone, and Hellman & Friedman, has officially launched following the announcement of its $1.5 billion joint venture in May.
