Hex Technologies, a San Francisco-based data analytics startup, raised $100 million at a $1.2 billion valuation in a round led by Peak XV and 137 Ventures, with participation from Amplify, Avra, a16z, Redpoint, Sequoia and Zero Prime. Announced Oct. 27 alongside Hex 4.0, the funding will support its rebuilt analytics platform designed for AI agents, which can write code, query data and generate insights while allowing users to share, govern and monitor results. CEO Barry McCardel said the company rebuilt the platform from scratch, removing traditional features such as drag-and-drop app builders in favor of an AI-native approach.
