Hero Assistant Raises $3.5M Seed Round Led By Forerunner Ventures At $30M Valuation
Hero Assistant (@Hero_Assistant), a San Francisco-based startup founded by Brad Kowalk and Seung Lee, has raised a $3.5M Seed round, bringing its total funding to $7M at a $30M valuation. The company is building the first “Daily Assistant” superapp designed to consolidate calendars, weather, tasks, habits, goals, grocery ordering, notes, and news into one platform, already replacing up to 8 apps for its 300,000+ users. The round was backed by Forerunner Ventures, Mantis VC (The Chainsmokers), Neo, Abstract, and angel investors, including Instacart co-founder Max Mullen, Dropbox co-founder Arash Ferdowsi, Scott Belsky, and Julie Zhuo.
