San Francisco-based General Medicine raised $120 million in a Series B led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Matrix, VXI Capital, Eli Lilly and Company, Mercy Health through Granger Management, and BoxGroup, bringing its total funding to $152 million. The nationwide healthcare store, which lets customers search, compare and buy care while viewing insurance and cash prices and receiving guidance from licensed clinicians, was co-founded by TJ Parker, who is becoming CEO, Ashwin Muralidharan, the former CEO, and Elliot Cohen, the company’s president.
