Firehawk Defense Secures Over $150 Million In Oversubscribed Series D Funding Round

Firehawk Defense, a Dallas-based defense technology company specializing in advanced energetics and propulsion, raised more than $150 million in an oversubscribed Series D funding round at a valuation exceeding $1.4 billion. The round was led by Advent and Rochefort Asset Management, with participation from new and existing investors and strategic partners. Founded and led by CEO Will Edwards, Firehawk will use the proceeds to expand its propulsion manufacturing and missile integration facilities, scale production of artillery motors, solid rocket motors, energetics and propellant, develop additional R&D sites, and grow its workforce. The funding builds on the company’s $60 million Series C round in September 2025 and supports its mission to strengthen U.S. defense manufacturing capacity.
