NOTE: Palo Alto-based Cube3.AI, a web3 transaction security platform provider, has successfully raised $8.2 million in seed funding. The investment was contributed by backers including Blockchange Ventures, Dispersion Capital, Symbolic Capital, Hypersphere Ventures, ICLUB, and TA Ventures. The company, led by CEO Einaras Gravrock, offers three core products: Detect, Protect, and Manage. Detect employs advanced machine learning algorithms to continuously assess transactions, smart contracts, and wallet addresses, assigning Risk Scores in categories like fraud, cyber threats, and compliance. Protect employs Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) technology to defend web3 applications from cyber threats and compliance risks. Manage provides proactive monitoring, alerts, and reporting, allowing companies to fine-tune risk thresholds and address enforcement. The new funds will support the expansion of Cube3.AI's operations and development initiatives.

Businesses Increase AI Spending As Anthropic Leads Adoption At 43.5%Ramp’s latest AI Index shows businesses are continuing to increase AI spending despite rising pressure from cheaper and open-source models. In July, the top 1% of businesses spent a median $7,400 per employee on AI, compared with $650 for the top 10% and $11.95 for the median firm, while Anthropic led business adoption at 43.5%, ahead of OpenAI at 39.7%.
