Create Raises $8.5 Million From Bessemer Venture Partners And Tobi Lütke
Create, a San Francisco-based AI agentic startup founded in 2021 by former Google product leaders Dhruv Amin and Marcus Lowe, raised $8.5 million in funding, including a $5.5 million round led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from Shopify founder Tobi Lütke and other angels. The company, which previously secured a $3 million pre-seed round, is behind Anything, an AI agent that enables over 500,000 users to build fully functional mobile and web applications from text descriptions—covering frontend, backend, authentication, and payments—without needing to code.

Businesses Increase AI Spending As Anthropic Leads Adoption At 43.5%Ramp’s latest AI Index shows businesses are continuing to increase AI spending despite rising pressure from cheaper and open-source models. In July, the top 1% of businesses spent a median $7,400 per employee on AI, compared with $650 for the top 10% and $11.95 for the median firm, while Anthropic led business adoption at 43.5%, ahead of OpenAI at 39.7%.
