Constellation Brands Acquires SpikedAde For $353 Million Total Potential Value

Constellation Brands has acquired SpikedAde, a spirit-based ready-to-drink beverage brand, for $75 million upfront plus up to $278 million in contingent payments over five years, bringing the total potential value to $353 million. Founded and led by CEO Jason Cohen, SpikedAde combines sports drink flavors with vodka in a zero-sugar, 100-calorie, non-carbonated format and has built a presence across the eastern U.S. The brand will be integrated into Constellation’s Beer Division, with the company taking over production, marketing and distribution.
