Circuit Inc. Secures $15 Million Seed Funding With Tyson Tuttle And Acquires Molecula
Former Silicon Labs CEO Tyson Tuttle has launched Circuit Inc., an Austin-based AI startup aiming to unlock insights from private, unstructured data like emails and internal files—what Tuttle calls a new kind of knowledge platform for everyone, not just enterprises. Circuit recently emerged from stealth, announcing its acquisition of fellow Austin startup Molecula and assembling a team of ex-Silicon Labs talent alongside co-founder and COO Matt Weiss. The company also secured $15 million in early funding via SAFE agreements from tech executives and plans to raise more capital soon. Tuttle established the Circuit Foundation alongside the startup, pledging 20% of the company’s equity to support AI education, workforce development, and social impact.
Circuit raised one of Austin's most significant seed investments with $15M to bring legendary CEO Tyson Tuttle's vision to life. Tyson previously led a $1B revenue public semiconductor company and sits on the board of the Dallas Federal Reserve and the new Texas Stock Exchange. At 25 people, the company targets the "slow adopter economy" - sectors like manufacturing, distribution, and supply chains that are usually the last to adopt cutting-edge software tools.
