Chainguard Raises $365M In Series D Funding Led By Kleiner Perkins At $3.5B Valuation

Chainguard, a Kirkland, WA-based software supply chain security company, raised $365M in Series D funding at a $3.5B valuation. The round was led by Kleiner Perkins and IVP, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Datadog Ventures, and existing backers including Sequoia and Lightspeed. Led by CEO and co-founder Dan Lorenc, Chainguard provides secure, continuously updated open source software to help organizations eliminate supply chain threats. The funds will support the scaling of its go-to-market efforts as it expands a customer base that includes Canva, GitLab, and Snap Inc.
