Cerrion Raises $18M In Series A Funding Led By Creandum For AI Video Agent Platform
Cerrion, a Zurich-based provider of an AI video agent platform for real-time production line monitoring, raised $18M in Series A funding led by Creandum with participation from existing backers and notable angels. Founded in 2021 by Karim Saleh and Nikolay Kobyshev, the company plans to use the capital to double its teams in Europe and the U.S. and expand its platform beyond vision to support a wider range of manufacturing processes. Cerrion’s technology is already deployed across three continents and in live production environments at manufacturers such as Unilever, Riedel, and Schott Zwiesel, helping identify and resolve issues for brands like Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Pfizer, and Novartis.

Alpaca Secures $135 Million Funding Led By Peak XV To Enhance Brokerage InfrastructureAlpaca, a global leader in agent-first brokerage infrastructure, raised $135 million in funding led by Peak XV, with major participation from Elefund. New and returning investors included Opera Tech Ventures (VC Arm of BNP Paribas) and Unbound. Alpaca has secured $435 million in total financing, inclusive of debt financing from Payward (Kraken’s parent company) and BMO. The raise builds on Alpaca’s $150 million Series D in January, which valued the company at $1.15 billion. As tokenization reshapes access to global markets and AI accelerates the creation of new financial applications and market participants, demand is growing for regulated infrastructure for the next era of finance.
