Atlas Atomics, a nuclear startup co-founded and backed by Vivek Ramaswamy, has raised about $400 million in a Series A round at a $1.9 billion valuation, Bloomberg reported on Oct. 8, 2026. General Catalyst is leading the round, with Andreessen Horowitz also participating. The company is developing heavy-water reactor technology that does not rely on enriched uranium, potentially lowering costs, and is run by co-founder Kevin Gan, a former energy investor at Millennium and D.E. Shaw.
