Lorikeet raises $9M Seed led by Blackbird.
Lorikeet has successfully secured $9M in Seed funding, led by Blackbird, with participation from Square Peg and Skip Capital. The Sydney-based company aims to further expand its platform and enhance its market presence.
The newly acquired funds will be directed towards enhancing Lorikeet’s AI support platform and accelerating its go-to-market efforts across various industries such as healthcare and finance. This follows a breakout growth period in 2024, where Lorikeet has significantly increased its bookings and added numerous high-profile clients.
With a mission to transform customer experience, Lorikeet provides AI-powered solutions that deliver human-level support at scale, particularly in complex and regulated sectors. The company has reported a 3.5x increase in bookings since its launch in October 2024 and has attracted notable customers, including Eucalyptus in healthcare and MagicEden in the cryptocurrency space.
Lorikeet’s proprietary intelligent graph technology orchestrates intricate workflows that facilitate the handling of sensitive topics, such as medical inquiries or digital currency transactions, ensuring high-quality interactions even when faced with complex issues. Their approach is specifically designed to address the challenges that traditional AI chatbots have struggled to resolve.
Steve Hind serves as the CEO, while Jamie Hall acts as the CTO, bringing valuable expertise to the company. Earlier in its journey, Lorikeet raised $5M in funding.
“Customer experience as we know it is broken,” said Steve Hind, emphasizing the necessity for a new approach to customer support challenges through advanced AI workflows. This recognition of existing limitations drives Lorikeet’s development and innovation.
