hexafarms raises $4.8M Seed led by Ananda Impact Ventures.

Green Generation Fund participated in the round, along with Grey Silo Ventures, better ventures, and existing investors Speedinvest, Mudcake, and Techstars. This funding will be used for wireless crop sensing, automated pest and disease scouting, and to expand into the DACH region, the Benelux countries, and Spain.

hexafarms develops an operating system for commercial horticulture, utilizing wireless sensors, yield-forecasting software, and scouting robots. The company is led by CEO David Ahme.
