Facility Ally, a sports facility and eatertainment management software firm based in Lagos, has successfully secured $700K in a pre-seed funding round led by Slabotsky Family Office. This funding will primarily support the expansion of Facility Ally’s development, sales, and marketing teams.

The company specializes in providing a comprehensive platform that offers reservations, memberships, payment processing, waivers, and additional features tailored for sports facilities and leagues. Facility Ally aims to streamline operations and minimize scheduling conflicts, enabling facilities and leagues to optimize their growth potential. There are around 100,000 sports facilities in the U.S., and the industry encompassing leagues, tournaments, and facilities is valued at approximately $70 billion.

Facility Ally serves a diverse array of clients, including Kansas City's Hy-Vee Arena, which utilizes the software to manage multiple courts and various other sports and training venues. Another notable client is Chicken N Pickle, a rapidly expanding pickleball eatertainment establishment that currently has seven locations across four states and five more in development, employing Facility Ally to oversee their pickleball leagues. As interest in pickleball surges nationwide, Facility Ally continues to attract new facility inquiries seeking out their services.

Luke Wade, the founder, initially devised Facility Ally to manage his adult recreational sports business, KC Crew, which has grown to encompass 20,000 participants across various sports leagues. He left a secure position as a developer to bring his software vision to life, facing challenges in finding a development team before partnering with the tech-enabled services company Full Scale, which also invested in Facility Ally back in 2018.

“We've already seen tremendous demand for an all-in-one software solution for facility and league management,” expressed Wade. The remarkable growth of both businesses during the pandemic reflects his leadership and adaptability, underscoring the potential of Facility Ally moving forward.
