John Testerman is a Senior Director on the Berkadia Hotels and Hospitality team. In this role, he is responsible for providing value-add services to clients, specializing in repositioning hotel assets in both the branded, independent and lifestyle sectors. Testerman joins Berkadia from Generation Companies, a 24-property hospitality development and management company. As Director of Acquisitions and Development, he was responsible for managing hospitality acquisition, development, conversion, and disposition activity as well as overseeing and underwriting all investment opportunities. John was also previously with Hunter Hotel Advisors for two years and was an associate at a Washington, D.C. based consulting company. He has been involved in hospitality transactions totaling more than $400 million, ranging from single asset sales to large portfolio transactions. John has experience transacting across all brand families including, Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Starwood and InterContinental Hotel Group.
