The deal will combine Tradeweb’s global platform and institutional investor network with Trumid’s trading technology and buy-side relationships, connecting new bond issuance with secondary-market trading. Tradeweb CEO Billy Hult said the acquisition will accelerate innovation and improve access to liquidity, with the transaction expected to boost adjusted earnings per share within the first full year after closing. The deal is targeted to close in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
